Silent R Management founder Jewerl Ross grew up in Los Angeles and left Southern California to study philosophy at Yale.  After graduating, Ross returned to L.A. to work in entry-level positions at ICM and Paradigm. Ross was an agent for three years at a boutique agency and later a manager for 4 years at a small management company.  

 

In 2006, Ross founded Silent R Management. Other Silent R employees include executive Gus Corwin and assistant Charlie Logan.

In addition to representation, Ross & Silent R Management have produced 4 films in the last 2 years. They just premiered SUJO in competition at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival to rave reviews and where it won the Grand Jury Prize. SUJO was directed by Mexican auteurs Fernanda Valadez and Astrid Rondero. Other films include BRUISER which premiered at TIFF to rave reviews in 2022 and was preemptively purchased by Disney/Hulu. BRUISER stars Trevante Rhoades and Shamier Anderson. It is available on Hulu in the US and Disney Plus around the world. BRUISER is currently 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. Their next film HOW I LEARNED TO FLY will be released in February 2024 by New York-based distributor Film Movement. Lastly, Jewerl is in post-production on the elevated horror film FAMILY starring Ruth Wilson and Ben Chaplin which will premiere at the 2024 SXSW Film Festival.
